Restaurants are apparently disgusting. Study after study comes out about how much bacteria is in the ice, the lemons, the food, everything. Why do we even bother.

Disgusting! I have always requested a lemon wedge with my drink -- no more! Is it really any surprise? Especially in the US -- so many of the kitchen workers are foreign, especially from Mexico, who have terrible hygiene habits! I've seen too many Mexicans (and are they legal?!?) come out of of the bathroom, NOT WASH THEIR HANDS and go to the kitchen. You get what you pay for -- makes me want to never eat out again! And, sorry if this sounds "bigoted" but it is what it is...

I was always worried that lemons weren't killing me. That's a relief!

any one else notice shes from a community college? She tested what, 21 restaurants? That is too small a number of restaurants to get any meaningful data from.
