sometimes, when people are feeling like shit they don't feel the need to listen to uplifting music, they prefer music which they can relate to. That doesn't mean it will keep you depressed or feeling bad, it helps you to identify your feelings. In my opinion, you need to identify them before you can change them. (sorry for my bad english)
