One the most amazing artists to ever grace the planet. Yes, his music is deeply spiritual.

I was born 32 years after Trane's death ('89), but this music is amazing to me nonetheless. It's timeless, so unique and unpretentious with such amazing harmony, beautiful. I've learned so much just from studying the song, but I haven't even scratched the surface.

Trane just sounds like he wants to play all the notes at once, playing was avery religious experience for him.

This was probably the best quartet ever assembled. None of the members are replaceable at all, it just would not have worked especially for things like this. Smokin'
