not sure about kareena, but rishi for sure has Punjabi background. If i'm not mistaking, Kareena is Shashi's daughter and i have no clue if Shashi also has Punjabi background, but i wouldn't be surprised if he does too, well anyway, they all entertain us so it doesn't really matter what their background is.
