Sylvia Plath reads November Graveyard

In this poem, Sylvia talks about the cemetery in Heptonstall. She was buried there in 1963.November GraveyardThe scene stands stubborn: skinflint treesHoard last year's leaves, won't mourn, wear sackcloth, or turnTo elegiac dryads, and dour grassGuards the hard-hearted emerald of its grassinessHowever the grandiloquent mind may scornSuch poverty. No dead men's criesFlower forget-me-nots between the stonesPaving this grave ground. Here's honest rotTo unpick the heart, pare boneFree of the fictive vein. When one stark skeletonBulks real, all saint's tongues fall quiet:Flies watch no reserrections in the sun.At the essential landscape stare, stareTill your eyes foist a vision dazzling on the wind:Whatever lost ghosts flareDamned, howling in their shrouds across the moorRave on the leash of the starving mindWhich peoples the bare room, the blank, untenanted air.

She speaks with what sounds an English accent to me, faux upper class, and uttering the words as if chiselling them from stone. Maybe that is a good way to read her poetry. I prefer something with music in it.
