Phil died 23 years ago today...I got smashed on whisky in his memory.I just wish I could see him live in concert, but I will never get that chance.

Robbo was kinda tied to his riff though because he basically memorized Gary Moore's version of it...(at Phil's insistance) I mean don't get me wrong, he made it his own...but Scott was just told to go out and fly. so give Robbo a little pass on this one.

There was lots of great bands in the 70's so I can somehow understand that Thin Lizzy never really got the appreciation they deserved. But it's a shame, a shame I tell you! Thin Lizzy's music has aged like a fine wine, only getting better and better !
