To break down the quote; "pure" take at face value, "distilled" is metaphor for the time and effort the group clearly spent together, "crystalline" refers to the tightness and sharpness of the rhythms. I don't want to sound like a hippie or liberal mushhead or anything like that but if you don't get any of these things, smoke more weed.

i do not understand your comment, maybe because i don't know everything you mentioned. What is a "pure distilled crystalline groove". I would like to understand your whole comment so please explain. I'm dutch by the way so maybe it's because of that.
