Well, actually "MoP" album bass lines were written by Cliff, but sure Jason played it his own way, maybe added smth.. =)But playing bass or guitar depends more on HOW you play, on the feelings in you, not on how skilled you are.. Person can use a lot of different techniques and play veeery fast, but with no feeling, just like "yo, look how cool i am here".. And it is really lame.. =) Cliff felt bass, Rob will never even be compared to Jason and Cliff.. He doesn't feel it like a part of him..

Actually he did. His bass lines in Creep and master are far more advanced then the ones Cliff played. And playing music has nothing to do how skilled you are, Jason is a great bass player. And he could sing which Rob and Cliff could not do, and thats the most important thing I think, just listen to songs like Of Wolf & Man with jasons back vox it just rocks. Also he had the coolest bass solos.

yup i totally agree with BassistDemon. From all the interviews i've seen with Jason he trully does out EVERYTHING into his music, well infact Jason decided not to have a family due to his intense love for music, now thats dedication. and yes Jason did use a pick for his unique sound not cuz he was a pussy, he uses his fingers in many songs though

Good words =)) At least someone with grown-up brains and respect... =) Respect to you )) \m/I rarely see (even our local) bassists who play (especially solos) with that soul that Jason did.. He gives all of himself to the music in that moments...Personally I use my fingers, but I admit that I have some lines that I really prefer to play with pick due to how it SHOULD SOUND..And it never goes to be judged.
