But religion and god is what can make songs/bands christian, I know there are different genres of christian rock but notice they have "christian" in front. That means they sing subjects that relate to christianity in some way even if its a small relation. But anyway they're considered alternative rock, post grunge, alterntive metal and the like. But anyways not that big of a deal. They are just awesome, thats all that matters, right.

Naw, they aren't christian or a christian rock band. Their songs have nothing to do with religion and I've never heard of them ever being related to christian rock. Besides they swear in songs like Firefly and Until the End.
