Neato!! This piece is fiendishly difficult to play at this tempo, but it's child's play for Argerich! What repeated notes! I'd like to hear what she does with Liszt's "la Campanella"! She'd make it her own, as she does everything she plays. I thought Argerich was a Steinway artist--what's with this Yamaha business--a phase? or maybe she liked the touch and sound for Scarlatti.

my uncle, who studied psychology in the university of buenos aires had a once-in-a lifetime opportunity to rub elbows with martha. My uncle said that martha was a little bit short, she SMELLS good she is simple but yet very classic and sublime, her haircut was like a man and she was a smart girl! One of my uncle friend's is close to martha and he said that she was great in algebra and geometry, I am not kidding guys. my uncle had a photo of himself together with martha signed of course by her.

Je ne dis pas que c'est à jeter, hein ! Mais c'est comme son enregistrement Bach, c'est intéressant, la fougue y est, mais il y a des duretés qui finissent par fatiguer. Bon, si je n'avais pas entendu Arodaky, peut-être cela me gênerait moins.

Je ne suis pas d'accord. La finesse et le mouvement sont aussi de la partie. L'absence d'expression sur le visage ne veut pas tout dire...

C'est du Scarlatti-mitraillette, la technique, c'est bien o.k., mais ce n'est pas tout. Listen to Racha Arodaky instead, such an artist !
