27gb is probably used for the defult ps3 os, what makes your ps3 work.

the 4 screws are really tight. I just swapped my 40gb to 250gb. Anyone knows why after formatting it shows only 205/232 GB available?? this is without restoring the backup. Where's the remaining 27GB??
